I’m always in awe of people who live with a high degree of integrity.
You know. The people who not only say they’re going to eat healthy, run marathons, and spend quality time with their kids, but who actually do it!
Let’s face it. We don’t have to look very far these days to find an excuse that will more than justify when our actions are out of alignment with our deepest values.
- I threw in the frozen pizza because it’s been such a hectic week.
- I skipped out on jogging because it was -30 degrees outside.
- I opted for another round of golf instead of teaching my youngest to ride her two-wheeler.
Rising above excuses
That’s why I get really excited whenever I see somebody walking their talk and living out their true purpose in life. I’m attracted to these people. And I want to learn everything I possibly can from them.
I am bursting with excitement about today’s interview with Eat Real Food Academy graduate, Maya. Why? Because this woman is the real deal.
At any moment in time, this working mother-of-four (ages 2-7) could play the “I’m to busy” card and not a single person in their right mind would even bat an eyelash. But she chooses to rise above mediocrity and create her own exceptional reality – one that reflects her deepest core value of excellent health and happiness for herself and her family.
Does it take planning, time, energy, patience, and self-compassion? Of course it does.
Does she say it’s worth it? You betcha!
On a scale of 0 to 10, Maya is an 11 in my books for living with integrity and leading by example.
Do you want to be our next success story? Registration is opening tomorrow (May 22-31) for our final Eat Real Food Academy course until the fall. Course begins June 2, 2015.
Why wait another season to overcome the busy trap, elevate your health to the next level, and live your best life with integrity?
