Improve your fitness. Preserve your health.

Does chocolate really make everything better?

September 17, 2015 by Carolyn Coffin

Have you ever woken up full of great intentions to make healthy food choices and get to the gym, but as the day wears on the only things calling your name are the tray of brownies and the latest episode of your favourite TV series?

Where exactly are your great intentions hiding when immediate gratification comes out to play?

In today’s episode of Eat Real Food TV, I dig into the science of why we can’t always trust our brains to keep us on the straight and narrow. You may think chocolate will make everything better, but often that’s just an illusion.

The good news is, there are two easy ways to resist temptations, take charge of your choices, and successfully pursue what matters most to you — both now and later.

Now I want to hear from you. Have you ever leveraged something you love to do to in order to successfully overcome procrastination? Tell us about it in the comments below.
