Insulin resistance, a condition where the cells fail to respond to the normal actions of the hormone insulin, is at the root of almost every disease of modern life, such as heart disease, diabetes, and even some cancers.
How exciting would it be if it were reversible without drugs?
Well, it’s your lucky day…it is reversible without drugs. According to Dr. Michelle Durkin — ERFA resident expert, naturopathic doctor, and owner of the Quinte Naturopathic Centre — the only way insulin resistance can be reversed is without drugs. And it’s simpler than you might think.
Find out how to improve your insulin sensitivity naturally with the small but powerful choices you make every single day – from what you put on your plate, to whether or not you get to the gym, to what time you fall asleep.
Now Dr. Durkin and I want to hear from you. What’s one thing you’ll start adding to your routine today to improve your insulin sensitivity?

Thanks for this video. I know that it was one of the first pieces of information in our ERFA but this just helps me to visualize it better. I was almost shocked that grains were sugar….felt guilty when I purged my cupboards and had to get rid of my organic oatmeal but I am so glad that I listened to you and did it. I feel so much better since I have eliminated grains from my diet and I do not grave them at all. So many great veggies out there to choose from!
I agree Pat, there ARE so many veggies to enjoy 🙂
Great job. Very informative. Thanks for sharing this.
You are welcome Gretchen, glad you enjoyed it!
