Did you know that our health is often just a reflection of the quality of our questions?
If we ask ourselves, “Why can I never get healthy food on the table?” then our brains will search for a reasonable answer.
But if we ask ourselves better questions, then better answers (and results!) will surely follow.
Find out the 3 questions that keep me on track with healthy eating habits. And make sure to watch to the end for my first blooper reel!
Now I want to hear from you. Which one of these questions will you start asking yourself to begin experiencing the extraordinary health you deserve?
Thanks for watching!

Excellent video!
For evening munchies my husband always went for some cheese and crackers. Now if I share a small veg plate (maybe throw in a few nuts) with him and a large iced green tea those munchies are gone. Even a glass of water or
For keeping the veg levels up I have made the cookies less accessible (i.e. leave them in the store where they belong!) I often keep a quinoa salad, homemade yogurt, etc. in the fridge as well as the veg tray – these nearly always get chosen over other less healthy options
Leaving treats around is a sure way to fail so I have been known to throw cookies or candies out. Out of sight – out of mind.
Also keeping pots of soup full of veg’s in the fridge is an easy lunch. There is nothing better than a bowl of homemade soup. And easy to heat quickly.
PS looks like you have a rising star in the house!
Those are all amazing suggestions! Thanks for sharing 🙂 Carolyn
The one question you posed that really hit home for me was #3, “Do I want the consequences of eating a cookie everyday the rest of my life”? Really opened my eyes to be honest and recognize that I do tell myself that I will make a healthier choice tomorrow and that next week I will eat better etc. By recognizing that those statements I tell my self are usually not true, I can now stop my thought pattern and change my question am I hungry or craving and from there make a healthier choice of snack or have some water.
Thank you for the eye opener 🙂
And the blooper was so funny!!
I remember the “would I eat a piece of salmon and veggies” coming up in the Eat Real Food Academy and it has really helped me. Usually, I am not even hungry but old habits seem to surface once in awhile so that question keeps me on track.
Thanks for another great video.
Old habits die hard, don’t they Pat? I love this question for keeping me on track. I hope it works for you too. Carolyn
Love the Blooper!
Am going to ask my husband the salmon and veggies question each evening. He is the one who munches in the evening. I do not always join him as I am rarely hungry in the evening but it is hard not to get the munchies while watching someone else eat.
So very true! We seem to “catch” the habits of the people closest to us for sure. Perhaps he wants to start catching yours 🙂
I have been using on old idea you suggested awhile ago and that is pre making salads with the dressing on the bottom. I make a bunch for many days at work and then pull them out as I need them. This way I find I am eating more veggies at work than I every use to. Susanne
I love the upside down salad approach. It’s a staple for us. Glad you’re enjoying it too! Carolyn
