I was inspired by a friend recently to consider a “what if” question for living a better life. It came to me immediately.
What if we craved the foods that help us thrive?
Instead of ice cream, chocolate and wine, what if we longed for loaded omelets, colourful salads and perfectly grilled meat, veggies and sweet potato?
What if the foods we simply couldn’t pass up were the ones that gave us tons of energy, cleared up our skin and helped us look good naked?
What if we loved to eat in a way that helped us rock our annual blood test or sleep like babies every night?
How would your life be different if you craved the foods that made you feel like a million bucks? Do you believe that’s even possible?
I believe it’s possible because I’m describing my own life.
It wasn’t always like this. I used to crave all the wrong foods, swear to myself that I’d stop eating them once and for all, do well for a few days, and then cave with a sugar-laden binge fest.
If there’s anyone who knows cravings for all the wrong foods, it’s me.
But simple changes in my kitchen, my workout routine, and my sleeping habits has led to an entirely different relationship with food … and my body.
I believe anyone with a big enough WHY can make these changes too. And my passion lies in guiding them there.
